Cracking Steam
1. Download Steam from "http://www.steampowered.com/"
2. Install Steam, start It, wait for the update, make NEW ACCOUNT (do not use
account with purchased games) then exit Steam.
3. Extract "UnDeadPatch.exe" into Steam directory.
4. Launch "UnDeadPatch.exe" and follow the instructions.

Installing the game
1. Download 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/)
2. Extract the files:
extract left_4_dead_ncf-jape.7z (there are 4 .ncf files in there) in Steam\steamapps
extract left_4_dead-jape.7z.001-025 (there is a "left 4 dead" folder in there) in
Steam\steamapps\common
3. Run Steam, start the game and waste your pathetic life

can someone help me out here i got an anoyin problem. ok so i finaly got internet again and wanted to play some l4d, but wen i did i got that downloaed paused thing. So i reinstalled everything, did every step but still i get that dam anoying download paused. Can soemone try and figure this one out cause ive tried everytin i know

THE WORST BUILD I THINK IVE EVER SEEN. Not worth you're time to go through and dl that stupid 7 app and trick an installation. I would way rather dl one that's functional after dling or JUST BUY IT. Yup, this installation was so bad, it made me want to buy the game instead... PRETTY SAD. WHAT A LOOSER UPLOADER.

Please note, you also have to use the updated engine files to get around the steam problem if you download this version.
